بلفور 100 سنة في: إرث بريطانيا الاستعماري

إننا نعيش في عالم خطير. هذا هو الواقع الذي تريد فيه رئيسة الوزراء تيريزا ماي أن تضع مستقبلها ك "بريطانيا العالمية حقا" بعد خروج بريطانيا من الاتحاد الأوروبي "للوصول إلى ما وراء حدود أوروبا" ولعب دور أكثر دولية. ولكن البقاء على قيد الحياة في عالم خطير - ناهيك عن القيام بأي خير لنفسك أو للآخرين - يتطلب القدرة على التعلم من أخطاء الماضي، ووقف تكرارها والوفاء بالوعود التي قطعتها. وينبغي أن يوفر الذكرى المئوية لإعلان بلفور في 2 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر فرصة مثالية للتفكير والتعلم والعمل.

إن الصراع الفلسطيني يشترك في شيء مشترك مع عدد من الصراعات الأخرى التي تبدو غير ذات صلة، مثل كشمير وميانمار- إرث من الاستعمار البريطاني. ليس هناك أمل في "بريطانيا العالمية حقا" ما لم تعالج البلاد ذلك، يساعد على البدء في إزالة الفوضى التي قدمها، و يفعل شيئا للدفاع عن تلك التي قال انها سوف تدافع عن.

وقد قدم رؤساء الوزراء البريطانيون مؤخرا، بمن فيهم ديفيد كاميرون وتوني بلير، اعترافا مبهما بالذنب البريطاني عند مخاطبة الجماهير الدولية المتقبلة، ولكن أيا منها لم يكن اعتذارا صادقا، ولم يتم متابعتهم بأي إجراءات قوية للمساعدة في حل وتخفيف الحالات التي تسببها أسلافهم. وقد تركت تكتيكات "الانقسام والقاعدة" التي استخدمها الاستعمار البريطاني في جميع أنحاء العالم، فضلا عن المحاولات العنيفة للحد من معارضة حكمها واستعادة الاستقلال، بصمة عميقة لا تزال تشعر بها حتى يومنا هذا.

ومع ذلك، وبعيدا عن التفكير في العواقب الوخيمة للاستعمار البريطاني، ستفعل رئيس الوزراء تيريزا ماي عكس ذلك تماما من خلال الاحتفال بالذكرى المئوية لإعلان بلفور في موقع أنيق في لندن، مع رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو و 150 من كبار الشخصيات المختارة بعناية.

وماذا عن الوعد الوارد في الإعلان بأنه "لا يجوز القيام بأي شيء قد يضر بالحقوق المدنية والدينية للطوائف غير اليهودية الموجودة في فلسطين"؟ بريطانيا تحتاج إلى البدء في العيش حتى ذلك، في الماضي.

وماذا للاحتفال؟ ولعل الإعلان بأثر رجعي، يمكن الأوروبيين من الشعور على نحو أفضل بالقتل المروع لستة ملايين يهودي فيأوروبا خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية - الأحداث التي وقعت بعد 20 عاما من إعلان بلفور الأصلي. ويبدو أن الالتزام "بالترحيب بتأييد إقامة وطن وطني للشعب اليهودي" يبدو نبيلا من هذا المنظور، ويصرف بسهولة عن واقع استخدام العنف الوحشي لتكريمه.

واعترف السياسيون البريطانيون في وقت مبكر بأن هذه القوة ستكون ضرورية لإزالة المسيحيين العرب الفلسطينيين والمسلمين الذين شكلوا أكثر من 90 في المئة من السكان، والذين لم يتم استشارتهم حول الوعود التي قطعها البريطانيون على أراضيهم.وكان وينستون تشرشل قلق ازاء العبء المالي على اموال دافعي الضرائب البريطانيين حيث كان يعلم ان القوات البريطانية ستحتاج الى الانتشار.

ومما يثلج الصدر أنه على الرغم من فقدان الذاكرة الجماعي الذي يشجعه قادتنا ونظام التعليم والخطاب الإعلامي المهيمن، فإن المواطنين البريطانيين العاديين يستيقظون على الأعمال الكارثية التي تم اتخاذها باسم هذا البلد ويدعوون بريطانيا إلى الاعتراف بمسؤولياتها .

فهل يجب على بريطانيا أن تحتفل حقا بإعلان بلفور الذي أدى إلى بؤس لا يمكن تصوره وموته ودماره الذي واجهه الفلسطينيون على مدى ال 100 عام الماضية؟ إن إعلان 67 كلمة الذي أدلى به قبل 100 عام في خضم الحرب العالمية الأولى من قبل برلماني بريطاني ما زال هو السبب وراء الكثير من البؤس والمشاكل في المنطقة.

والبؤس المستمر الناجم عن الاستعمار البريطاني لا يقتصر على فلسطين.

آثار أقدام دموية في جميع أنحاء العالم

في آب / أغسطس، احتفلت الهند وباكستان بالذكرى السبعين لإنشاءهما كجزء من الاستقلال عن الإمبراطورية البريطانية، التي حكمت الهند لمدة 200 سنة. وقد اقتلع 15 مليون شخص، وتوفي ما بين مليون و 2 مليون شخص.

أعطيت مهمة تقسيم البلاد للسير سيريل رادكليف، وهو محام لم يكن هناك قط. ورسم خطوطا تفصل بين المجتمعات والأسر، وتدمر قرون من التقليد في ضربة واحدة من ركلة جزاءه في جميع أنحاء البلاد، وليس على عكس تأثير قلم بلفور في الشرق الأوسط.

الموت والدمار لا محالة يتبع هذا التقسيم الخام وغير المفكر، مع الهند وباكستان الذهاب إلى الحرب على أراضي كشمير علىالفور تقريبا، وهي قضية لا تزال دون حل حتى يومنا هذا. والواقع أن أول قرار للأمم المتحدة في عام 1948 يشير إلى حق الكشميريين في تقرير المصير من خلال التصويت. إلا أن بريطانيا لم تفعل سوى القليل جدا لدعم هذا الالتزام، ولا تزال كشمير رمزا لعدم الاستقرار في المنطقة.

كما حصلت ميانمار على استقلالها عن بريطانيا في عام 1948، وأجبرت الإبادة الجماعية التي يقوم بها حاليا القوميون البوذيون ما يقرب من نصف مليون من مسلمي الروهينجا على الفرار من قراهم المحترقة للهروب من الاغتصاب والقتل والعنف. ويمكن أيضا أن تعزى هذه الإبادة الجماعية إلى السياسات الاستعمارية البريطانية، ومع ذلك لم يسمع صوت الحكومة البريطانية بالكاد.ومن بين جميع الدول التي يجب أن تلعب دورا في حماية الأقلية المسلمة الضعيفة في ميانمار، يجب أن تقود المملكة المتحدةالجهود ، لأن اللوم على الصراع يمكن أن يعزى بسهولة إلى العصر الاستعماري البريطاني.

ويعيش الروهينجا في هذه الأراضي لأكثر من مائتي عام، ولكن الاستياء من التشرد الداخلي للبوذيين يعود إلى عام 1826 عندما ضمت بريطانيا الجزء من ميانمار حيث يعيش معظم المسلمين الروهينجا اليوم. تم جلب أعداد كبيرة من المسلمين الهنود ليصبحوا عمال وإداريين للبريطانيين، ولكن، مثل غيرها من الأماكن في العالم، ليس المستعمرين الذين يدفعون ثمن هذا، ولكن الناس الأبرياء العاديين.

قبل سبعين عاما شهدت تفكك الإمبراطورية البريطانية. الآن، بما أن خروج بريطانيا من الاتحاد الأوروبي يكسر علاقاتنا مع أوروبا، ونحن نتطلع إلى بناء شراكات مع بقية العالم، فإن الذكرى المئوية لإعلان بلفور توفر فرصة مثالية للتفكير والتعلم والعمل الهادف إلى معالجة البريطانيين التاريخيين، السياسات التي هي أصل الصراع المستمر.

ومما يبعث على الارتياح أنه على الرغم من فقدان الذاكرة الجماعي الذي يشجعه قادتنا ونظام التعليم والخطاب الإعلامي المهيمن، فإن المواطنين البريطانيين العاديين يستيقظون على الأعمال الكارثية التي اتخذت باسم هذا البلد ويدعوون بريطانيا إلى الاعتراف بمسؤولياتها.

ولهذه الغاية، يجري تنظيم تجمع وطني يوم السبت 4 نوفمبر في لندن تحت عنوان "جعله من حق فلسطين"، ومن المتوقع أن يحضر الآلاف. وعودا بأن تكون علامة مختلفة جدا لإعلان بلفور أكثر من واحد تيريزا مايو يحضر، ويجري مفتوحة وشاملة والجمهور. وهو بمثابة تذكير بأن الأحلام الإمبراطورية البريطانية لا تزال كابوسا حيا للآلاف في جميع أنحاء العالم.

Is China Embellishing its economy through despotism?

The Land of Dragon, propaganda and ulterior motives i.e. China has always been a part of discussions among countries across the globe. Some of these nations are rapidly becoming its ‘economical’ partners and few of them like USA, India,Japan and nowadays Australia (after knowing that Beijing is trying to influence their politicians) are speaking against it. The others are still deciding, Policies of Trump has shook their faith in USA but they do not trust Xi Jinping either. Speculations are rife that China is on the verge of becoming a Global force able to change the world order. Though, is this road made by supporting Dictorians and using the blood of innocents? To know the answer, we first need to peek inside China itself. Let’s start with its Achilles’ heel, East Turkestan.

There is a famous Chinese proverb, A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections. East Turkestan is just that for PRC,an Imperfect Diamond. It was occupied by them in October 1949. This realm is home to Millions of Uyghurs who are a Turkic ethnic group. Alas, its name was changed to Xinjiang, means new territory. Uyghurs never liked the communist regime and after their nation’s accession. There was nothing common between both the regions. From Turkish traditions to their belief in Quran. From the songs they sung to the pictures they painted. From their food to the clothes they wore. Even their Names, language and games were different from that of Chinese. One can understand these disparities by a single fact that Uyghurs have a religion while China believes in atheism.

 

The above Dissimilarities were always dealt in a harsh manner. The PRC put unthinkable restrictions on Uyghur community. No one was allowed to practice Islam or study Quran. Their farmlands and ancestral homes were being snatched away. The influential leaders, nationalist scholars and artists were all being hanged to death. People even came out on streets to save East Turkestan but they were butchered by military. Basically, anyone who uttered a single word against China was behind the bar. Then came the cultural revolution by Mao, only the mention of this incident and one can recall all the horrors of that time. During this incident too, Uyghurs remained the main targets of Maoists. In spite of being poles apart and its unlikeliness for the people, China occupied East Turkestan.

Till this day, Uyghurs are suffering in the hands of communist regime as it desperately tries to hold on this territory but Why????

At present, East Turkestan is the largest Chinese occupied division and the eighth largest country subdivision in the world, spanning over 1.6 million km^2.. Not only this,the most well-known route of the historical Silk Road ran through the territory from the east to its northwestern border. In recent decades, abundant oil and mineral reserves have been found here, and it is the largest natural gas-producing region for Beijing. Traditionally an agricultural region, East Turkestan also has large deposits of minerals and oil including abundant reserves of coal, crude oil, and natural gas. 

Ripping off the Uyghur land of its resources,the oil and gas extraction industry in Aksu and Karamay is booming, with the West–East Gas Pipeline connecting to Shanghai. Over a fifth of China's coal, natural gas and oil resources came due to the invasion of East Turkestan. And today it plays a vital role in Xi Jinping’s ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative. He is leaving no stone unturned to exploit Uyghurs and suppress their voice of freedom.

Though it is not only the people of East Turkestan who are being punished for their natural wealth. If we take a look at the countries who think China as their ally, we will find that those Governments are themselves wolves in sheep's clothing. A large number of investments made by Beijing have been in conflicted zones with an authoritarian Government. Countries like Maldives,Philippines, Cambodia, parts of Africa, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt etc. have one thing in common and that is lack of freedom. The common people in these countries are already suffering and by filling the pockets of corrupt politicians, China is making sure that the situation remains the same.

“This attitude of a wannabe super power is due to one reason, Economy. China wants to increase and expand its economy by Hook or crook.”

The economic interests of Beijing has always overshadowed the Humanitarian issues all over the world and recent Rohingya crisis is a testimony to this fact. China’s reaction to it has uncovered its true intentions. Millions of Rohingyas were left without homes, many died and children were orphaned but PRC supported the Myanmar Government. All of this because of a pipeline which will let Beijing acquire 200,000 barrels of crude a day. It is no coincidence that the areas of the pipeline passing through Myanmar’s Rakhine states includes ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya. 

 

Same is the case in other countries. Beijing’s giant state corporations have invested billions of dollars in dams, oilfields and mines to dominate theCambodian investment landscape. In Maldives, it has given Huge loans to the corrupt PPM Government and investing in infrastructure projects like Hulhumale Housing schemes, bridges etc. It has influenced the Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte so well that he is supporting Xi Jinping in claiming most of the South China Sea. China has also set up funds with the UAE and Qatar worth a total $20 billion to invest in conventional energy. It extended its contracts to buy oil and half of Beijing’s oil imports originate from the Middle East. The Governments of these countries are either too weak or draconian in nature.

According to Xi Jinping or any Dragon leader it isn’t worth one’s while if millions of people are dying or living in horrible condition. They will keep ignoring Rohingya Genocide, imprisonment of Human Rights activists and journalists, murders of politicians, bloggers being flogged 100 times or Millions forced to step on Land Mines until they hinder China’s growth. They will keep flourishing an economy on the cost of Human lives and pave its way amid corpses. Its been more than 60 years since Uyghurs are suffering and now the Dragon is trapping other countries too.

According to Mao Zedong, Political power grew out of the barrel of the gun. Following his leader, Xi Jinping is growing Economic power too from that same barrel of gun.

How is China fooling everyone?

"We are not confiscating Qur'an. That is an entirely distorted story of Radio Free Asia."

The Chinese officials denied that their government was attacking Islam in East Turkistan. They claimed that the story of Chinese authorities confiscating the Quran and prayer mats was fabricated. However, a viral audio announcement via China's enormous social media apps – WeChat – had demanded Uyghur Muslims to submit their holy books and prayer rugs.

In an interview with RFA, a Chinese Communist Party member had said that they were seizing prayer mats with pictures of Ka'aba and Qur'an that Uyghur Muslims were not allowed from engaging in entertainment activities – referring to alcohol and smoking – if they had photos of Ka'aba and Qur'an at home. 

A Chinese government official stated in Xinjiang Daily that people should not believe the lies that western media was spreading against them. He further said that Uyghur Muslims were the "happiest people in the world" and stability they had restored in Xinjiang.

In fact, Uyghurs are classified as Islamic extremists in these days if they differentiate between halal and haram, or they absent in Chinese flag-raising ceremony in case, or they couldn't memorize Chinese red songs. Every Uyghur person can confirm that at least one member of each Uyghur family is in jail because of wearing a headscarf, having holy verses in phones, preserving Uyghur mother tongue and teaching children about God.

It is also well known that China is forcing Uyghur students from all over the world to return home.

 "Police already have questioned my wife many times; they told her that if I don't return in this summer, she will be arrest along with my baby. I know I can't come back again to continue my school if I return, and they will take me directly to detention center upon my arrival. But I have to go back, I can't put my wife and my baby at risk" said Uyghur student in the United States, who requested anonymity."

China's motive of oppression on Uyghurs is to arrive their desired satisfaction of famous Chinese proverb dictates, "fen lin er tian, jie zee er yu" (Burn a forest to farm and drain a pond to fish.)

East Turkistan (also called Xinjiang in Chinese) is rich with oil and natural resources, and it is the significant gate of China's OBOR plan, which aims to dominate the world. Beijing attacked culture, religion, and language of people of East Turkistan and devised security measures by turning them into Nazi camps to burn the Uyghurs like a forest or kill them like a fish by draining their history and culture.

Although available evidence contradicts what China claims, Chinese government firmly believe that as long as they are not admitted and not going to see their ugly behavior, no one can see it. In fact, this is precisely like what another Chinese proverb said that "stealing a bell with ears plugged." it Sounds like China is fooling itself, but it is apparent that stealing the bell with ears plugged in here is aim to deceive the whole world.

Governments in the free world hesitate in mentioning China's human rights' (HR) violation and humiliate China in bilateral meetings to obtain trade benefits. Governments remained silent because of their economic interests when Uyghur professor Ilham Toxti sentenced to life imprisonment in 2014. Middle Eastern allies have turned a blind eye to Uyghur Muslims. Canadian ambassador to China, John McCallum silently accepted China's HR violation as a driver of Canada's economic growth. In a recent meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, Trump failed to mention China's HR violations.  If China did not deny its oppressive behavior, are these governments would be still silent? Probably not, because, being silent within the excuse of being fooled by others creates less guilt than being silent without any explanation. 

The Chinese Communist party has brainwashed leaders, journalists, government employees and ordinary Chinese citizens into believing that they conceal the truth for political benefits. As a result, none of the regular Han Chinese people in East Turkistan tend to analyze the fact about Uyghurs endless suffering cognitively, and they can't dare to reject the communist party's brainwashing lies.

Only some Chinese people with egalitarian, democratic values in free countries have spoken against this oppression.

For example, one of the Han Chinese writers resided in the United States questioned in his recent article in Boxun news that why only the Uyghur children were criticized for being thieves in China; what kind of parents would risk having their children stabbed to death on the streets each time they caught. Uyghurs have -no way out because the Communist party has put them in a desperate situation. The writer sympathized with the Uyghurs and criticized the Communist party from a humanitarian point-of-view, and this is the only one article written by the Chinese person who tried to understand the misery of Uyghurs I had ever seen in my life.

However, China's denial of oppression in East Turkistan should come as no surprise, as long as the silence of world chooses to be China's fool and ignoring the crying of bell ring even their ears are unplugged.

سر القلعة الحصينة في العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة

كشفت أسوار العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة عن تفاصيل مهمة حول القلعة المحصنة التي يبنيها عبد الفتاحالسيسي بعيدا عن الأضواء ويفرض عليها تعتيما إعلاميا محكما، والتي ستكون المقر الجديد الذي ستنتقل إليه أركان الدولة والنخبة التابعة والأجانب في أقرب وقت ممكن دون الانتظار لاكتمال الكيان الإداري الكبير الذي يحتاج إلى سنوات طويلة وميزانيات ضخمة.

نحن أمام مشروعين باسم العاصمة الجديدة، الأول على مساحة 700 كم وهو الذي يركز عليه الإعلام الرسمي والذي ينشغل به الرأي العام، وهناك عاصمة إدارية مصغرة حجمها 100 كم داخل المشروع الكبير، تحيط بها الأسوار العالية من كل جانب، تشبه قلاع القرون الوسطى.

عدم وضوح الرؤية حول مشروع العاصمة الجديدة يرجع إلى بعد المنطقة التي تم اختيارها في الصحراء الشرقية بعيدا عن العمران، ولكبر حجم المساحة التي تقع بين طريقي (القاهرة - السويس) و(القاهرة - العين السخنة)، بل إن نظام العمل يجعل كل شركة لا تعرف شيئا عن عمل الشركات الأخرى المجاورة، بما يضفي ضبابية على صورة المشروع.

العاصمة المصغرة

من الواضح أن هناك استعجال للهروب من القاهرة ونقل الحكومة ووزاراتها إلى الصحراء، ومن المؤكد أن قرار عبد الفتاح السيسي بنقل الوزارات العام القادم إلى ما يسمى بالحي الحكومي الذي يظهر في التصميمات شرق العاصمة غير ممكن في المدى القصير، لأنه غير جاهز ولأن المنطقة كلها غير صالحة للحياة في الوقت الحالي، ولهذا كان مجمل العمل موجها إلى بناء العاصمة الإدارية المصغرة البديلة.

العاصمة المصغرة قلعة مسورة بالكامل، وتقع في المربع الموجود في جنوب غرب المنطقة بين طريقي السويس والعين السخنة، يحدها من الشمال محور محمد بن زايد الجنوبي، ويحدها من الجنوب طريق العين السخنة، ويحدها من الشرق الطريق الدائري الإقليمي ومن الغرب مدينة الأمل والقاهرة الجديدة، وفي التصميمات هي جزء من العاصمة الإدارية ولكن لم يضعوها ضمن الخريطة المعلنة حتى لا ينتبه إليها الشعب المصري إلا بعد الانتهاء منها.

الجدل حول الأسوار والردود الحكومية

من يسير في طريق القاهرة السويس يرى الأسوار في الضلع الشمالي الذي يوجد خلفه مطار القطامية الذي تم تطويره وأصبح مطارا للعاصمة، ويرى سورا طويلا بشرق العاصمة، ومن يسير في طريق القاهرة العين السخنة يرى السور الضخم بارتفاع 7 أمتار وعليه أبراج المراقبة بطول 12 كم تقريبا.

والحديث عن العاصمة المؤمنة والمسورة (بالأسوار) والمصورة (بالكاميرات) صدرت من صفحات ومواقع الدعاية والترويج لبيع الشقق والفيلات للطبقة المترفة، وتركز دعاية القائمين على العاصمة على أنها كمبوند أفضل من المدن المغلقة الأخرى التي يقيم بها الأثرياء، وكانت الأسعار الفلكية للشقق والفيلات (أكثر من مليون جنيه للشقة ومن 3 مليون إلى 9 ملايين للفيلا) المطروحة للبيع دليل على أنها ليست عاصمة لكل المصريين.

بالاطلاع على صور العاصمة الإدارية بالأقمار الصناعية من خلال خرائط جوجل، وهي متاحة على أي تابلت أو موبايل، أو من خلال برنامج جوجل إيرث نستطيع رسم صورة لما يجري على الأرض، ونرى هل ما يتردد من حجم الإنجازات حقيقي أم لا؟ وإذا كان هناك إنجازات فما هو موقعها؟

بعد المشاهدة الميدانية ومراجعة التصميمات والاطلاع على صور البث الفضائي يمكن تلخيص الوضع في النقاط التالية:

أولا: مشروع العاصمة الإدارية يحتاج إلى 30 عاما أو أكثر لكي يكتمل، إذا توفر له عشرات المليارات من الدولارات وتريليونات من الجنيهات.

ثانيا: المبنى الوحيد الذي تم إنجازه في المساحة الكبرى للعاصمة شرق الطريق الدائري الإقليمي هو فندق الماسة المبني على شكل مثلث به بحيرات صناعية وحمامات سباحة وسط الصحراء الجافة، ومحاط بالأسوار من جهاته الثلاث، ولم يكتمل بناء حي واحد من الأحياء السكنية الستة المخطط لها في المرحلة الأولى غير جزء من الحي R3 وتم تشطيب بعض العمارات للتصوير.

ثالثا: تم إنفاق مئات المليارات في شق طرق وبناء أنفاق البنية الأساسية تحت الأرض بزعم بناء مدينة عصرية.

رابعا: التركيز على فندق الماسة ومربع سكني طوال الوقت لإلهاء المصريين عن الشغل الأهم وهو الانتهاء من العاصمة الحقيقية.

الجدار العازل

عندما ظهرت صور الأسوار خرج رئيس جهاز العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة بتصريح نفى فيه وجود السور، وفي نفس التصريح ناقض نفسه ونفى كلامه وقال: "قد يكون في منطقة بقلب العاصمة، أو حول محطة للكهرباء أو المياه، أو حول منشأة ما".

وبعد الافتتاح الرسمي للعاصمة الإدارية وتجدد الجدل على الفيسبوك نشر الموقع الرسمي للعاصمة الإدارية ردا على موضوع السور وقال إن السور يحيط بما يسمى الكيان العسكري، ونشر خريطة بها تظليل على منطقة صغيرة بها مبنى قيد الإنشاء لوزارة الدفاع، وهذا الرد يثير الكثير من الملاحظات أهمها:

1- المنطقة التي أشار إليها بيان العاصمة بأنها الكيان العسكري مجرد منطقة صغيرة جنوب شرق المدينة التي تم تطويقها بالكامل بالسور الخرساني الضخم.

2- استخدام كلمة "كيان" لها دلالات سلبية فهي تطلق على الكيان الصهيوني.

3- المبنى المشار إليه سيكون له سور خاص به غير السور الكبير الذي يحيط بكل المدينة.

4- المباني العسكرية والمعسكرات لا تحتاج إلى مثل هذه الأسوار العالية، وهي موجودة في كل مكان بمصر في حماية الشعب، ومحاطة بالأسلاك الشائكة أو الأسوار البسيطة، بل إن وزارة الدفاع نفسها في قلب القاهرة محاطة بسور بسيط.

5- المنطقة المحاطة بالسور العازل مدينة كبيرة بها منشآت مدنية ضخمة ومدن سكنية ومباني للوزارات، ومساحات تبدو وكأنها مخصصة للسفارات والهيئات، ومخططة لتكون العاصمة المصغرة بغض النظر عن اكتمال المشروع الكبير أم لا.

6- العمل في العاصمة المصغرة متواصل وهناك إلحاح على سرعة تهيئتها للانتقال إليها في أسرع وقت.

7- تسوير هذه المساحة الكبيرة يطرح التساؤل حول هوية هذه القلعة المحصنة؛ فهل هي مدينة يسكنها العسكريون فقط أم سيسكنها العسكريون مع المدنيين؟ وإذا كانت مخصصة للعسكريين فقط فهل من المنطقي في علم الإستراتيجية جمع القيادات العسكرية للدولة المصرية في مكان واحد في منطقة محددة بالقرب من العدو الإسرائيلي؟

8- ما هي الرسائل التي يمكن أن تفهم من بناء مدينة للعسكريين فقط، محاطة بمثل هذه الأسوار التي لا تمثل أي قيمة دفاعية أمام عدو خارجي؟

9- ألا يشير هذا التخطيط لتأسيس بناء بهذا الشكل إلى أن هناك من يخطط لمواجهة مع الشعب بعزل القيادات العسكرية في قلعة مغلقة؟ وهناك أسئلة كثيرة تدور في الذهن حول الدلالات السلبية لمثل هذا التوجه.

10- أما إذا كانت المدينة سيسكنها المدنيون بجوار العسكريين كما يبدو من حجم المنشآت وطبيعتها المدنية التي يصل ما أنفق عليها حتى الآن إلى تريليون جنيه، فما هي معايير الاختيار والانتقاء لمن سيسكنون بها؟ فهل سينتقل إليها المرضي عنهم من مؤيدي السيسي فقط لتعميق انقسام المجتمع على أساس سياسي؟

في كل الحالات نحن أمام عاصمة إدارية مصغرة، مغلقة، غير متاحة للمواطنين، وسيتم اختيار القاطنين بها بمعايير غير معلومة، أشد صرامة من معايير انتقاء السكان في مشروع العاصمة الكبير، الذي أصبح معلنا بشكل رسمي أنه خاص بالأثرياء والأجانب من كل الجنسيات ولن يسكنها المصريون البسطاء.

تهديد أمن الدولة

من الناحية الإستراتيجية فإن نقل أركان الدولة المصرية والحكومة إلى الصحراء بجوار إسرائيل في هذا المكان المكشوف والمعزول كارثة إستراتيجية، وهو تفكير معاكس لأي منطق استراتيجي، ويخدم الصهيونية؛ فالعواصم لا تبنى إرضاء لرغبات أشخاص، فسياسة مصر في عهد السيسي الموالية لـ "إسرائيل" هي علاقة مؤقتة ليست دائمة، ولا يمكن بناء العاصمة وهي وضع دائم على أساس استثنائي خارج عن الثوابت الوطنية والإسلامية وضد المصالح الأمنية.

العاصمة الإدارية الجديدة بتصميمها الحالي تغري أي عدو خارجي بغزو مصر، من البحر الأحمر، حيث الطريق مفتوحا ولا يستغرق أكثر من ساعة من الزمن ولا توجد موانع طبيعية أو كثافة بشرية، ومهما كانت درجة الاستعداد فهي لقمة سائغة لأي غازي؛ ففي حرب أكتوبر حدثت الثغرة والجيش المصري في قمة الجهوزية العسكرية حيث تم اختراق الخطوط الدفاعية وتطويق الجيش الثالث.

نقل مقار الحكومة إلى الصحراء بقدر ما هو يجعل أركان الحكم ورموزه رهينه عند حاكم القلعة فإنه بمثابة تسليم الحكم المصري للعدو، فإزاحة الحكومة من القاهرة إلى طريق العين السخنة يجعل السلطة المصرية أيا كان توجهها تحت التهديد الصهيوني بشكل دائم.

من العجيب أن بعضهم يقول إن إسرائيل أصبحت حليفا وأن السيسي أصبح صديقا لنتنياهو، وأن الخطر لم يعد من إسرائيل وإنما الخطر من الإرهاب الموجود في الداخل، أي أن هذه الحكومة التي ستهرب إلى العين السخنة ترى أن الخطر يأتي من الغرب وليس من الشرق!

هؤلاء الذين يرون أن الإسرائيليين حلفاء وأن الخطر يأتي من الداخل يتوهمون أن بناء السور الخرساني المسلح والاختباء خلفه هو الوسيلة الوحيدة للهروب من الغضب الشعبي، والتفكير بهذه الطريقة يعني أن الذين سيهربون إلى العاصمة الإدارية سيتحالفون مع إسرائيل ضد المصريين، وسيبذلون كل جهودهم لمطمئنة الصهاينة ليساعدوهم، وسنرى تعاونا استراتيجيا في هذه المنطقة التي يعمل الصهاينة لضمها إلى ما يسمى إسرائيل الكبرى.

ما يجري في العاصمة الإدارية مع الإصرار على استبعاد العنصر البشري الشعبي من الإقامة بها (انظر مقالاتنا الثلاثة السابقة) يؤكد أن العقل الصهيوني حاضر في التخطيط والتنفيذ؛ فالمليارات التي أنفقت حتى الآن في هذه المنطقة العنصرية كانت كافية لبناء عشرات المدن في المنطقة الشرقية ولكانت قد فتحت أفاقا جديدة للشعب المصري.

العاصمة الإدارية بمشروعيها الكبير والصغير هي استنساخ للمنطقة الخضراء في العراق، من أجل دوائر السلطة والمنتفعين بالوضع الحالي والأجانب، وستكون بداية النهاية للدولة المصرية، فهي الثقب الأسود الذي سيبتلع ثروات مصر؛ فالإنفاق عليها الذي يعتمد على الاقتراض الخارجي بدون حساب، وطبع المليارات من البنكنوت بدون غطاء، وبيع ممتلكات الدولة من الجزر والأراضي والمرافق العامة سيؤدي لسقوط الاقتصاد بالضربة القاضية، وحدوث الانفجار الكبير الذي لن تصمد أمامه المدن المحصنة والجدران العازلة.

Background of Case

• Dr Aafia Siddiqui is a Pakistani mother of three , a brilliant scholar, PhD doctor of cognitive neuroscience
• Majoring in learning and imitation , improving efficacy of learning in children,
•  An educationist with a dream a dream to revolutionise the educational system in Pakistan, 
• one that would create a generation Of enlightened and intellectual youth in a country that needed it more than others. 
• Dr. Aafia earned her bachelor’s degree  from MIT and earned her doctorate from Brandeis University.
• Her doctoral thesis was “Learning through Imitation” in which she included her research on improving learning techniques for children.
• She was totally dedicated to her children and her academic studies revolved around how children learn.
• Unfortunately, Dr. Aafia became a victim of domestic violence during her marriage.
• In 2002, Dr. Aafia’s husband moved the family to Pakistan and soon divorced her while she was pregnant with the couple’s third child. 
• In 2003, Dr Aafia became a victim of a rendition operation was kidnapped along with her little kids. 
• Dr. Aafia is now 43 years old, a mother of three children (2 are US citizens), and is a Pakistani citizen. With no other citizenship
• Currently languishing in a US jail at FMC Carswell military base where her life is in constant threat. 

Circumstances Surrounding the Case

Briefly, here are some of the basic circumstances of Dr. Aafia’s case:

In March 2003, Dr. Aafia and her three children, Ahmad (boy), six years old and an American citizen, Maryum (girl), four years old and also an American citizen, and baby Suleman (boy), six months old, kidnapped by unknown authorities in Karachi, Pakistan.

On March 31, 2003 it was reported by the Pakistani media that Dr. Aafia had been arrested and turned over to representatives of the United States. In early April, this was confirmed on NBC Nightly News, among other media outlets.

There was communication to the mother of Dr. Aafia from purported “agencies” that the family members should be quiet if they want to see Aafia returned alive.

By the year 2008, many believed that after five years of being disappeared Dr. Aafia and her three children were most likely dead as was the case with thousands 

That were sold and victims of rendition operations by a dictator ruling Pakistan (his biography "in the line of fire")

• Then, in July of 2008,  three events occurred:

1. British human-rights reporter, Yvonne Ridley and former Bagram detainee and British citizen, Moazem Begg,

 publicly spoke about a woman in Bagram screaming, a woman whom they named the “Grey Lady of Bagram”

2. A petition for habeas corpus was filed with the Pakistan High Court in Islamabad requesting that the court order 

the Pakistani government to free Dr. Aafia or to even admit that they were then detaining her.

3.  A wave of International out rage emerged as evidence of illegal detainees in bagram and other secret detention centres 

Began piling up. A request from the House of Lords in UK to inspect the Bagram facility and a meeting 

With prisoner 650 was sent by various human rights activists world wide echoed. 

It was in the midst of this whole scenario that a disoriented Aafia is found in Afghanistan and shot a sinister

Plot that makes one shudder.  

What Evidence , Investigation has uncovered?

That Dr. Aafia was (and is) an innocent person who was abducted for money or based on false allegations or false conclusions derived from an unknown source.

That, unfortunately, all evidence required for her defense and establishing legal proof of her detention would require full cooperation by the U.S. and Pakistani governments, and intelligence agencies, a cooperation that seems impossible. However the Person who kidnapped her has finally come forward

And confessed to the heinous crime on the behest of her ex husband and the regime that stripped pakistan Off its dignity by selling its own citizens. 

That documents incriminating Dr. Aafia are either false documents or produced under torture or threat of harm to her children.

That the Afghan police were looking for Dr. Aafia and her son based on a description given by an anonymous tip with a shoot on sight Order on the day she was detained in Ghazni.

That had Dr. Aafia  been shot on sight on suspicion of being suicide bombers, this would have led to a convenient closure of the case of Aafia Siddiqui at a time when a massive outcry from international community and a petition for habeas corpus was pending in the High Court of Pakistan in Islamabad. 

Note that this court had been asked to order then-President Musharraf and the Pakistani government

 (which would include anyone working with them) to release her or to reveal her whereabouts.

That Dr. Aafia, who spoke no local language in Ghazni, was dressed so conspicuously in a manner to be easily identified and shoot on sight as a (falsely-accused) suicide bomber as a part of someone else’s plan.

The forensic and scientific evidence presented during the trial in New York proved that Dr. Aafia could not have committed the crimes for which she was charged, still the the judges closing arguments jury disregarded the evidence and chose to agree with the prosecution due to fear and prejudice.

 

What Dr. Aafia’s detractors want?

We are asked to believe that Dr. Aafia, a respectable Pakistani woman in all ways, has links to terrorists from Pakistan; (NO terrorism charges against her)was voluntarily hiding under cover with three children acting as a terror field operative while at the same time leaving her family to believe for five years that she and her three children were dead.

We are asked to believe that Dr. Aafia arranged this just after her father died, after finding out her husband cheating on her marriage was disintegrating, and after leaving her widowed mother alone in Pakistan. It is absolutely not plausible and does not even fit the traditional profile by law enforcement of female or male terrorists from that part of the world.

 

Current Situation

In February, 2010, Dr. Aafia was tried and convicted in a US Federal court on charges of attempted murder and assaulting US servicemen in Ghazni, Afghanistan.  The official charges against Dr. Aafia were that she assaulted U.S. soldiers in Ghazni, Afghanistan, with one of the servicemen’s own rifles, while she was in their custody, waiting to be interrogated by them. 

No US personnel were hurt but Dr. Aafia was shot and suffered serious injuries including brain damage. Dr Aafia categorically denies these charges. The forensic and physical evidence denies those charges

There were NO terrorism charges against Dr. Aafia.

According to several legal observers, the trial of Dr. Aafia was littered with many inconsistencies and defects, chief among them being 

1.No jurisdiction to try the case in the US. This was a result of a rendition operation.

2. Many rulings by the judge that strongly favored the prosecution and prejudiced the case against the defense. 

3.These ranged from allowing much hearsay evidence and jury instructions that favored the prosecution. 

4. In addition, Dr. Aafia was not represented by lawyers of her choosing and faced constant innuendos of terrorism when she was not charged with any such offence.

5. As a result of Judge Richard Berman’s framing of the case in a negative light, Dr Aafia was convicted despite ALL physical and forensic evidence that showed that she could not have committed the acts she was charged with.

6. On September 23, 2010, Dr. Aafia was sentenced to 86 years in prison by Judge Richard Berman who overruled the jury’s determination that there was any pre-meditation. The judge also added enhancements that were not part of either the charges against Dr. Aafia nor part of the conviction.

After her sentencing, Dr. Aafia aasked that people not take any revenge or get emotional.  She asked that those who have wronged her be forgiven as she forgave Judge Berman. Dr. Aafia remains imprisoned, now at the notorious Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas where she is kept in the Special housing unit (SHU) which is the most severe confinement category. She is still not allowed communication with anyone she trusts, including family members.

7. Being a Muslim her religious book the Quran is desecrated, her clothes stripped, food urinated Upon and what could be a worse form of human coercion than tearing away little children from their mother And then threaten the mother of her children's safety ? 

 

Dr. Aafia’s Children

Dr. Aafia’s oldest son, Ahmed, who is a U.S. citizen by birth, was found in an American detention Centre , Afghanistan after public pressure and, in late 2008, was reunited with Dr.Aafia’s  sister in Karachi, Pakistan.

Dr. Aafia’s daughter, Maryum, also a US citizen by birth, was recovered in April 2010 and dropped off in Karachi after being missing for 7 íyears.  She was traumatized and spoke only American accented English.

Dr. Aafia’s youngest child, Suleman, a boy who would now be about 12 years old, remains missing; and is feared dead.

 

What Supporters and Family Seek?

Dr. Aafia, an MIT and Brandeis laureate, is now a broken and mere shell of her former self. Under these circumstances, 

Family and supporters are asking the U.S. government to repatriate Dr. Aafia back to her home in Pakistan.

The Pakistani government has formally made this request as this matter has become a major public issue and has support across Pakistani political and social spectrums. Supporters and people of conscience should press government officials to get Dr. Aafia reunited with her family as soon as possible. 

Aafia and her family seek no revenge as their faith is in vengeance is mine saith The Lord . Aafia's case Has become a glaring example Of thousands suffering from rendition operations, illegal detentions, false a Accusations and torture tactics that put barbarism to shame. 

Dr Aafia’s family and supporters still have hope in fair minded peoples commitment to mercy and justice to raise their voices with theirs so it be heard in the corridors of power. To help end the violations of basic human rights and let freedom ring. Justice for the past, for all Dr. Aafia has suffered, is hard to imagine.All that is asked for the future is for some measure of correction. If Dr. Aafia is repatriated, perhaps she can pick up some fragments of life with her family.

There is a lot of information out there on the Internet, and in the media. Many of the stories demonize Aafia, while some raise her to sainthood. Aafia is neither demon nor saint.

Aafia is simply a mother, daughter and sister with a dream, trapped in an extraordinary nightmare.
